EKINÖZÜ VILLAGE:

Ekinözü village is 6.2 miles from the district centre. It used to be the village of "Habab". In this village where armenians lived: there were 3 churches, 1 monastery and 2 fountains.

Historical Church-Kagtsrahayeats Monastery:

In order to get here, you have to walk 200 meters after driving to a certain point. It is known that the monastery belongs to the medieval period. Except for the outer walls, the surrounding walls have been destroyed.

ÇAKIRTAŞ (HOŞMAT) CHURCH:

It is located in The Pleasantmat Upper District in the village of Hoşmat (Cakirtaş) in the district center, in the location of Çalgısar mountain.

The church is thought to be from the Middle Ages. The church is largely destroyed today, only the basilica part stands on the hill, rumbling into the ground. In the surviving parts of the church: four walls are connected by a curved arch. Wall plasters are relatively preserved.

HEBREW BEY PALACE:

It is located in the village of Sekrat (Yazbasi) in the district center. The palace was built by an Armenian during the Ottoman period between 1917 and 1918. Special craftsmanship attracts attention. Today, the monumental entrance door of the building, which measures only 8 x 8 meters, remains intact. The rest of it was destroyed and only the remains remained.
