What is the Room Buy-Sell Marketplace?

C2C (Customer-to-Customer) Buy-Sell Transactions

HotelForex also features a C2C marketplace that allows you to directly buy and sell the reservations you obtained either through the haggle process or the “Buy Now” option, if you do not wish to use them or need to cancel them. Here are the steps you need to follow to carry out C2C transactions:

1- Account Creation and Member Login

To perform all C2C transactions, first create your account or log in with your existing account. This way, you can both track the haggle offers you have sent to hotels and make reservations, as well as manage your reservations in the C2C marketplace.

2- Listing Your Reservation (Offering for Sale)

My Reservations:

Go to the "My Reservations" section of your account.

Listing for Sale:

Click the "Sell Now" button next to the reservation you wish to sell.

Information:

If your reservation was obtained via a haggle offer and is already non-refundable, the system lists it for sale directly without making any changes to the cancellation policy.

However, if a reservation obtained through the Buy Now option (refundable) is to be sold, you will be notified on the confirmation screen in the second step that the cancellation policy will be changed to non-refundable.

Pop-up Confirmation:

If your reservation is refundable, once you list it for sale, the system will change its cancellation policy to non-refundable. This will be presented for your confirmation via a pop-up screen.

Information Entry:

If you are selling for the first time, select your status (individual/legal entity), enter your IBAN details, and set your sale price.

Listing:

Once all information is completed, your reservation will be listed in the C2C marketplace so that other users can send haggle offers.

3- Communication with Buyers and the Haggle Process

Tracking Haggle Offers: Track the haggle offers sent by other users to your listed reservation through the "My Sales" section in your account.

4- Agreement and Payment

Agreement:

When both parties reach an agreement, an official agreement is established through the system.

Secure Payment:

Payment is securely processed using a credit card or other supported payment methods.

Reservation Transfer:

Once payment is completed, the reservation transfer is automatically executed and the new reservation details are automatically sent to both the buyer and the hotel.

5- Post-Transaction Support

Support:

If you need assistance during or after C2C transactions, the HotelForex support team is at your service.

Conditions:

All transactions between the buyer and seller are conducted within the framework of the platform's general cancellation and modification conditions.
